GZ STATIC / FIELD NOTESA place for
small observations.
Notes on making useful things, keeping work simple, and paying attention to the details.
Keep a working notebook
A short record of a decision is often more useful than a polished summary written weeks later. Write down the question, the choice, and the reason while they are still fresh.
Design for the quiet moments
Readable type, generous space, and a clear structure make a page easier to return to. Start with the content and let the layout follow.
Small steps, durable results
Useful projects grow through small improvements. Finish one piece, try it in everyday work, and use what you learn to choose the next step.
